Inspirations for 'Artistic Heritage'
The 'Artistic Heritage' capsule line emphasizes artistic depth and technical mastery. Inspired by Fahrelinissa Zeid's captivating paintings, the "Belgin" cardigan dazzles with its vibrant pattern clashes, while the "Leyla" sweater and "Lerzan" cardigan, reflecting the fluid and delicate lines of traditional Ebru art, add a touch of elegance to your winter outfits. Furthermore, the collection explores textural depth and visual richness with 3D Jacquard techniques inspired by traditional Turkish quilting, showcasing how this craft can transform into avant-garde fashion.
Each piece elegantly merges past and present, reinforcing Atelier38’s artistic footprint in the fashion world.
About Atelier38
Atelier 38 is supported by the know-how and experience we have from Gönül Örme, one of the biggest Turkish knitwear manufacturers that globally supply to luxury brands. Gönül Örme was founded by Gönül Karagöz who combined her love and knowledge of knitwear that she inherited from her mother with her own taste and vision in creating timeless knitwear pieces adored by everyone. Soon after, the company’s second generation leaders took over the reins and made Gönül Örme one of the top knitwear manufacturers for large scale, high end brands both in Turkey and around the world. The key factor in their very successful journey is the devotion and dedication to what they do and the value and importance they give to local production and creating high quality products.
“We are beyond excited and happy to share with you Atelier 38, named after the house number of our beloved atelier that has become a second home to us over the years. We’ve combined the high product quality and timeless designs of Gönül Örme to bring together a thorough collection.”
