Atelier38 SS24 - ‘A Day’
Atelier38 proudly unveils its latest Spring/Summer collection, "A Day", a fusion of fashion and memories, inspired by a narrative of revisiting one's roots and reliving treasured moments. The collection is a journey through the hours of a summer day, set in the backdrop of a Mediterranean summer house inherited by our muse.
Mirroring the progression of a day - ‘A Day’ is thoughtfully segmented into three parts - Morning, Midday, and Golden Hour. Each piece in the collection is named after an hour - capturing the essence and mood of the time it represents.
Inspirations for ‘A Day’
The collection seamlessly blends artistic and cinematic influences to create a vibrant and textured narrative in fashion. Drawing inspiration from Louise Bourgeois's striking artworks and Cecilia Vicuna's textured pieces, ‘A Day’ introduces a dynamic interplay of stripes and textures.
Key features include modernized waves, open knits, and innovative transitions from 2D to 3D designs, set in a color palette that combines vibrant hues with earthy tones to embody the dynamism and joy of summer.
‘A Day’ represents a celebration of life, envisaging garden parties and nostalgic flashbacks, and fostering a dialogue between our persona's past and present.
